If you've been reading the bonus chapters section, you'll know it's been Sierra's chapters. Her story is nearly finished, and then I will be posting chapters from Justin's POV. If there are other POVs you'd like to see after such as: Ben's, Amber's, Michael's, Ellen's or Mason's let me know. I can do them after Justin's. I've had a lot of feedback from people that Ben's are the most interesting. Again, email me if you have suggestions.

Powerless is now on audiobook

New Years Eve Fun

I don’t have any book news right now, but I do have some site news.

Although I am sure you have better things to do on New Years Eve… I mean, there is Stranger Things if you’re a fan of the show, friends and family, games to play, some of you might even be drunk, and of course the actual countdown on TV.

But if you’re bored for even five minutes, or just curious, you can head to the main page and watch the countdown hit midnight. There might be a fun little surprise waiting there. Just saying.

If for some reason you did come on the website to see the countdown, and nothing happened, I apologize for that. Fireworks were supposed to go off at midnight, but I messed the code up somehow. If you're curious about how it was supposed to look, I made myself my own little countdown for the Stranger Things release. Since it's past the date, it will automatically start with the fireworks if you click on the link below.

Book News!

Here is some book news from me. Not everyone who finds this page has read my books yet, so some of this might be familiar if you have. There’s also more information on the Characters page if you want the full breakdown on the realms and worldbuilding.

If you’ve read the Foothills books, you’ll know there are mermaids, and that Ellen is one of them. In Book Four, I introduced another mermaid character very briefly. I’m currently working on a new series in this same universe with her as the main character. The good news is: you don’t have to read the Foothills series to understand the new one (unless you want to). This new series follows Freya’s whole backstory and journey, and it acts as a prequel to Foothills anyway. Freya’s appearance in Book Four is so short that it doesn’t matter if you read it or not before starting this series.

This universe will have multiple connecting series, but you won’t need to read all of them to follow along. You’ll sometimes see characters from other books appear or be mentioned (the same way Freya briefly appears in Foothills), but they won’t be the focus anymore. It’s just to show that the stories all exist in the same world without it taking away from the new characters and plot. For example, Freya’s series starts as a prequel, but the story will eventually continue past the events of Foothills. Even then, you still don’t have to read Foothills first. Characters like Amber, Ben, Ellen, and Michael might show up here and there, but they won’t have POVs or storylines in this one. They’ll just show up in passing.

However, one character from Foothills will have a bigger role later on—Denver. There was a reason I emphasized his trident and siren powers a few times in Foothills, but we never actually got his real backstory or the connection to the trident explained from his perspective. That’s going to be explored properly in the new mermaid series, either in the second or third book. And again, you still won’t need to read Foothills before that, because this series will tell Denver’s story directly, from his POV, rather than seeing him through other characters’ eyes like before.

News Update: Sierra’s Journey

Starting this week, I’ll be sharing Sierra’s chapters from The Lost Moments here on the site. These chapters take place during Books Three and Four, but from Sierra’s point of view.

Sierra has always been one of the most controversial characters in the series, and I know a lot of readers have wondered what was going on in her head when she made some of her choices. If you’ve ever asked yourself “why did she do that?”—this is where you’ll find the answers.

Each week, I’ll post a new chapter in order, so you can follow her journey as it happened. Some of it will be hard to read, some of it might even change how you see her, but all of it is part of her story.

Spoilers ahead, of course—so if you haven’t read the books yet, read at your own risk. Though this update went up on a Wednesday, going forward new chapters will be posted every Sunday. To keep this page clean, I won't be updating here every time I post a new chapter. Just expect to find a new chapter every Sunday, and if I miss a day, it will probably be up soon.

Welcome to my new site!

Thanks for visiting! This page will be your go-to spot for both book news and website updates.

Right now, I don’t have any announcements for my published books—those series are complete. More new series are in the works (👀), but they're not ready to announce yet. The most I'll say is they take place in the same universe as Foothills. With eight realms, there are more stories and new characters to explore. I'm currently working on one with the mermaids, but also the Dark Magic Wielder Realm. There's also a sequel to Foothills Fae Academy, however, I've only written a few chapters for it. None of the new series will be ready anytime soon. I'd say a late 2026 release at the earliest.

That's why you'll notice that most of the content on here is dedicated to the Foothills series.

In the meantime, keep an eye on the site as I add character profiles and more fun extras. And if you haven’t yet, try the Foothills Power Display Quiz to see which territory your classmates would vote you into. As of this post, the character profiles aren't finished yet, but there are some essays uploaded in the character section at the bottom. Find out more about moon mates and more!

It's also been years since I used HTML, so please be patient with me as I get to know it again. The site is pretty basic right now, but as I learn HTML again, I am hoping to make it more advanced and interactive. Expect this site to go through many makeovers. I am using Neocities for now as I get used to HTML again, but the site will find a new home eventually. This site is just for me to practice.
